Story
The Morpeth Midget Men (Kuz, Rushy, Stoxy and Baz) will be embarking on a marathon day of 72 holes/4 rounds of golf across Northumberland to raise money for a worthy cause. Whilst all 4 of us are often found on the golf course in our spare time, we are coming together on 28 June to raise lots of money to go towards funds supporting research to hopefully find a cure for cancer. We have all been impacted by the dreaded C one way or another, and have directly seen the impact it has on our families and friends. Kurran’s mum was diagnosed over 4 years ago with breast cancer, but thankfully is one of the lucky ones who has now been cleared and continues to enjoy her life with her expanding family. The itinerary on Friday 28 June 2019 will be as follows with NO buggies (barring any excessive food stops for some); 4.15am – Bamburgh GC 8.30am – Foxton Alnmouth 1pm - The Village Alnmouth 5.30pm – Morpeth Golf Club 73rd Hole – Morpeth Golf Club (be great to see some of you there) This amounts to nearly 25 miles of walking and roughly 320 golf shots, depending on how badly we play Feel free to join us playing golf at any of the 3 courses and we can get some more money together for charity from various competitions along the way. Please let any of us know which leg of the journey you would like to join and we will arrange with the respective Golf Club. Please donate generously to a great cause and help us to achieve our target of £2000. We will keep you all up to date across Social Media of how our day develops but will sure to be consist of; - Pars - Bogeys - Double Bogeys - Somersby - Samosas - Tantrums - Club throws - Chaffing - McDonalds - ‘Wey Ayes’ / ‘Wey Nurs’ Thanks a lot for all your generosity in advance
