Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. As some of you may know my Nan is currently battling Stomach Cancer, today (27/3) seems like a fitting day to share this journey with you as today's her surgery day. After scaring us all with Chemo causing sepsis, being in hospital for 3 weeks but then pulling through. And to now, a 5 hour operation; it proves two things 1, my Nan is a tough old bird and 2, that cancer is real and it's affecting thousands of people around the world and those close to us. Me and my Mum are going to run (well with my dodgy joints probably walk/jog) the 5k Cancer Research mud race to fight for everyone fighting the biggest fight of their lives. Please donate if you can, even if it's a pound, but I know not everyone can so moral support would be great too!
