Story
In 2014 our Mum was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer and we were told there was no cure. As time went on, the disease progressed to her lungs, liver and finally her brain, causing her to have seizures. She went through many different treatment options from radiotherapy, immunotherapy and chemotherapy to surgery and gammaknife treatment. Sadly on the 9th September 2019, our Mum passed away after 4 and a half years of fighting. We’re running race for life this year in memory of our wonderful mum, and to raise money to fund more life-saving research, so other families don’t have to go through what we have.
