Story
On 17th May 2017 our Mum/Grandma was diagnosed with Lung Cancer. Exactly 5 months later on 17th October 2017, she passed away. During those 5 months we cried, we laughed and we carried on regardless. When the cancer spread to her brain she made us laugh with her child like ways. You could see the sadness in her eyes from time to time, you could see her really looking at family and friends, maybe as if to remember exactly who they were and what they looked like. It's horrible watching somebody die of cancer. It's horrible watching somebody dying when they know they are dying, when they are too young to die. When all the hope is taken away, seeing them give up because they feel there is no hope. Nearly a year on, we miss Mum/Grandma terribly. Whether or not a cure is ever found for the many different types of cancer, we still need to give hope, because without hope there is nothing. And if you are reading this and have cancer, never give up hope and never stop believing. Please give some hope xx . Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
