Story
We are doing the mud run in memory of our amazing mum, Christine Smith who recently sadly lost her battle to this horrible disease. She was the most amazing, loving, caring and selfless mother anyone could have wished for who was loved so much. She dealt with her illness with such grace and did not complain once or feel sorry for herself even through all the operations and chemo, She battled with dignity until the end. She was a mother of 14 and we couldn't have asked for a better mum. She has left a huge hole is our lives and she will never be forgotten. She had a rare type of cancer called Goblet cell carcinoid. We would like to raise money for cancer research to help avoid others having to go through what she did.
