Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. Me and my team are also taking part for my sister who has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer at age 32 and has been undergoing chemotherapy. Ovarian cancer is often called the “silent killer” because symptoms can be vague and are often missed until the cancer has already spread. Sadly it doesn’t receive as much attention or funding as some other cancers, which means research into earlier diagnosis, better treatments and ultimately a cure is limited. Thank you for your support🩷 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
