Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Our family is participating in Race for Life with a deeply personal mission—to honour and support the incredible journey of Matthew, my partner and our children's father, who has bravely battled a rare form of bone cancer. Cancer has touched our lives in profound ways. Watching Matthew fight with unwavering strength and resilience has been both challenging and inspiring. Throughout his treatment and recovery, he has shown us the true meaning of courage, perseverance, and hope. This race is not just about running; it's about celebrating the victories, big and small, that we have experienced together. It’s about coming together as a family and community to raise awareness and support for all those affected by cancer. Every step we take is a step towards hope, research, and finding a cure. We are running to honour the past struggles, the present strength, and the future victories. By participating in Race for Life, we aim to contribute to a cause that brings hope to countless families like ours. Join us in this journey—support, donate, or cheer us on as we race for a future free from cancer. Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can race for life.
