Story
Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Claire and I are taking park in the Chelmsford Race for Life This is the first time that men can take part which is fitting after the past year in which Chris’s Aunt Margaret was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and we lost our dear friend Maggie to complications following Breast Cancer. Chris lost his Dad George to Bowel Cancer, Claire’s Mum Katie battled Brain Cancer and just before that, lost her Nan Marion to Throat & Lung Cancer. So we will primarily be doing it for these five wonderful people but of course everyone else who has to face this dreadful disease. We’ve set our target at £200 which we hope we can achieve so if you have a spare couple of quid please please donate. Thank you and much love Chris & Claire
