Selfishly I (Marie) signed up to motivate myself to increase my fitness, reduce my risk of cancer and be a good example to the young people in my life. Then encouraged Karen to do the same... HOWEVER, in the last year I have seen the impact cancer has had on a number of close friends both directly and indirectly. I can’t take their pain away or ‘fix it’ but Cancer Research is working hard to make it better.
