The March for Life Band are returning to Southsea Common to make music, have fun and raise money for Cancer Research.
Cancer sucks - we know this. It continues to affect members of the band, our families and our friends. We appreciate the developments that have been made in treatments but it isn't enough. We need to stop this disease in it's tracks by developing prevention strategies, improving treatment (and minimising the often devastating side effects of that treatment) and finding complete cures.
As previously, we will be helped by our fabulous support team, those people who can't march with us, be it because they can't march, can't play, don't fit with the Race for Life criteria or are unavailable on the day but help with preparations, whether that involves providing instruments (including some fab March for Life drums), music, T-shirts etc.
Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
