Students and staff from the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Keele University, alongside our friends, have decided to do the race for life this year! We all come from different backgrounds and fields of nursing, but all have seen and experienced the impact that cancer can have on others, not just in a professional capacity, but a personal one too. Cancer is such a truly horrible disease, that does not discriminate. What could be better than raising money and awareness to fight it whilst having a laugh with your mates? Honestly, it does not matter if you don't want to, or can't donate, but please come along and join or support us in any way that you can! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
