Story
In October 2017, Rachael and Tim Wetherall’s son Josh was diagnosed with liver cancer at only just 2 years old. As you can imagine this life changing journey has been extremely hard to follow for a number of the people who know the family and Josh but of course the main people are Josh’s parents, big brother Archie (currently in reception) and family who have all come together to support each other. It has been absolutely heartbreaking to see Josh go through this journey but he is such a trooper and literally tackles every treatment of chemo, blood test, scan (the list is endless) with such fight and determination! Go Josh!! My 2 year old, Darcey became Josh’s little friend from the childcare setting they attended together and she misses their love/hate relationship! In her own Darcey way regularly says ‘I miss my Josh’ .... So a group of us ladies including Josh’s Mummy are getting ourselves covered in mud in June to support Cancer Research for Josh and all the other people who have a cancer story to tell. We’d all be extremely grateful for any donation to help beat this cruel disease and quite frankly punch it in the face which I have liked to do on a number of occasions! Thanks a million! Laura, Rachael (Josh’s Mummy), Helen, Sue and Beki Xxx Ps if anyone fancies a bit of light entertainment we’ll be at Tilgate Park, Crawley on Sunday 24th June at 10.45am (the last race time slot to make it muddier of course!!!) Come and cheer (laugh) us on!! Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK.
