I am going to be taking part in the 10k race for life in Scarbrough on the 11th July 2018 at 7pm. Cancer is one of the biggest causes of death around the world. I lost my father at the age of 12 from cancer and my grandad is currently suffering from terminal cancer. I’ve seen the effects and also experienced them myself of what it’s like to loose and be loosing family members and friends to cancer. Yesterday was my dads 55th birthday and sadly he is not here to celebrate. I’ve also worked as a mobile care assistant and in a care home and seen the effects it has on the victim and families. Every penny raised goes to a good cause and I hope that I have my friends and family’s support. Please feel free to share to raise as much as possible for such a good cause to beat such a horrible disease
