I was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 9 years old. I was diagnosed with a Wilms’ tumor (cancer of the kidney). A Wilm’s tumor is rare. I was told before my biopsy that I was going to die. Thank fully I was transferred to a specialist cancer hospital and there I was probably diagnosed. After chemotherapy and a operation to remove my kidney I was in remission. I was later told I wouldn’t be able to have kids or I would struggle because I only have one kidney. 12 years layers I fell pregnant with my first child. Now at the age of 26 I have 2 beautiful children and conceived with no issues at all. I am cancer free and have been for 17 years now.
