On the 1st of October 2018 lorraines dad died. 8 weeks after the diagnosis he lost his battle. He was the person who would do anything to help a charity and help fundraise himself. A few previous lorraimes mam had breast cancer and dave shaved off his well loved tash and raised over 2000 pound for cancer research UK. Before he died lorraine promised him that she would run the great north run 2019 for him and for his chosen charity. He chose cancer research UK. Together lorraine and emma, friends since the age of 11 are going to run this run and raise as much money to help beat cancer once and for all
