Story
As many of you will know, Lisa's son Charlie was diagnosed with Leukaemia at the age of 2,shortly after they arrived in Australia. Charlie endured 3 and a half years of daily chemo,regular lumbar punctures, blood and platelet transfusions,regular hospital stays,the list goes on. All whilst almost 10,000 miles from home.Thanks to people like you who dig deep and support Cancer Charities like this,Lisa's son is still with us today and is a cheeky,happy 9 year old who loves nothing more than being outdoors digging in his veggie patch! So, on the eve of 7 years since his diagnosis, Lisa wanted to do something positive and worthwhile. She asked if any of her friends would like to take part in Pretty Muddy! The response was fantastic and we now have our team! Lisa's sons Charlie and Thomas are also taking part (in the kids Pretty Muddy) as they wanted to raise some money to "Kick Cancer's Butt!"
