both of our families have been affected by cancer, from Gemma's uncle fighting bowel cancer to Lindsey's mom fighting and beating ovarian cancer! it isn't until somebody close to you goes through it that you realize how easily cancer can tear through a family we are not only running for our family members who have fought it with such strength but also for all of our 'supporters' such as nurses, doctors, therapists etc who give their all to support families in these times of need Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
