“4th February 2016 – World Cancer Day. For me, the day when my life has changed forever. The day when I was told that I have Cancer. When my daughter was only 4 months old I had to fight for my life. One night, during my treatment, when I was in the isolation room,I promised myself that if I beat cancer - I will take part in RACE FOR LIFE.And now, when I am in remission I managed to bring old friends, who invited their friends to do this run TOGETHER”. Here we are! 40 WOMEN uniting with one purpose. TO RAISE MONEY. TO BEAT CANCER! It’s crazy to think of the horrid reality that 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer. This is scary, and usually that’s why so many of us try to not think about it. We’re all also so extremely busy with our lives, often not appreciating what we have until we get to a low point. Or when someone close to our hearts gets to a low point..and then it hits us.We often secretly ignore it and act as if it didn’t exist.Hoping that this will magically stop cancer from happening to us or anyone that we love. But instead of ignoring it,worrying or being sad,why don’t we take a second to think of what we have that’s worth being thankful for RIGHT NOW When we think about it truly and deeply,we get so much more energy, energy that the ones being diagnosed with cancer right now do not have.We can use our ability to walk, run or cross that #raceforlife border in any way that we can.. and do it with the biggest smile on our faces. Because WE CAN. So.. we’re joining our forces in order to do our bit.We want to let our positivity shine through and show people how strong each and every single one of us is. And every little help..really does help! We’d like to invite you to take part in this. Together with us. Even if you don’t feel like you want to cross that border – you can support us by being there or making a donation.Whether it’s £1 or £100.. it will make a huge difference. If we do this together, just imagine how incredible this can be!
