Story
Right. This time last year, I hurt. I was bald, I was scarred, I couldn't eat or move or get a decent nights sleep. So I spent my days daydreaming of the life I'd aim for after cancer (which basically involved taking over the world). I don't know what I would have done if I wasn't so lucky to be semi-certain in the fact that I'd get through it; I was fortunate that it was caught early enough that the prognosis was pretty decent. I couldn't have been in that place if it weren't for the beautiful, kind hearted workers of the NHS and the research involved in stopping this absolute b*stard of a disease. So my friends and I are going to run and make fools of ourselves at Pretty Muddy Clapham Common 2017. My girls and me. It might be hard but I count my blessings, because I'm alive today. And afterwards, we'll get brunch. Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. There’s no time to lose! Donate today and help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured. Donating through these pages is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with Cancer Research UK. - Lily
