This year I’m celebrating 6 years clear of stage 4 Bowel Cancer, I’m incredibly grateful to Cancer Research UK for their continued work in searching for a cure for this awful disease and their groundbreaking developments in treatments and drugs. I’m doing the Race For Life with my family and friends to say a big thank you and try to raise some money to help them continue their incredible work. When I had cancer I could not have imagined ever being physically active again so this will be a wonderful experience for me, my family and my friends. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
