Story
This year, our amazing grandad was diagnosed with leukemia. In March, he was rushed to hospital due to shortness of breath and his heart beating more than double the amount that it should have been, he was later diagnosed with pneumonia. Later investigations discovered the leukemia. Our GPs didn't even think what was wrong with him was anything serious, so had it not been for the pneumonia, his cancer would've gone unnoticed. On 27th April he lost his fight, surrounded by his family. We'll be taking it in turns to walk around the track for the duration of the Relay with my team on] 9th July, my family do this every year but ordinarily I'm a sloth and do not partake in exercise of any form, and camping is my idea of a nightmare, so for me to be joining in is an achievement in itself, so please sponsor me!! I've also convinced Luke to join in so it'll be an interesting 24 hours. In addition to this, Torie and I will be completing the 5K Pretty Muddy, we want to have a laugh to try and brighten up this year and celebrate university starting/ending... This year us Wheeldon's are really trying to kick cancer up the bum.
