Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work. Myself and Laura are doing the 10k Race for Life on Saturday 4th July 2020! We are raising money for Cancer Research as we have so many people close to our hearts that have recently been diagnosed with Cancer or unfortunately over the years have lost their battle to the horrible C word. Laura’s Nan Pat sadly passed away in April 2019 of bone cancer. Pat was an amazing kind woman who would do anything for anyone with the kindest heart. The nurses were amazing that helped Pat. She had breast cancer in 2008 that she had beaten but sadly this time it had come back for good. Pat made everyone smile and loved her family her 3 children 5 grandchildren and her great grandchildren. We want to do something for her this time so this is you for Nana Pat. We love you and miss you every day! Unfortunately, we can never bring back our friends and family but by raising money for Cancer Research UK we can bring the day they say, 'We've done it! There is a cure for cancer!' closer and nobody else will have to live out all their amazing life moments without their loved ones.
