Cancer has always been there in my family. From as young as I can remember, I've been around someone that's been fighting. Some battles won and many lost. This year cancer has reared its ugly face once again and very close to home. Someone very special to me has been diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer and confirmed BRCA2 gene. This has been a life changing diagnosis for me and my family. So this year, I've decided to do something to help the fight. I've always been one to sit on the side lines and sponsor others, but now I know I need to do my bit! This year I'll be completing the Race for Life with my good friends in memory of all our friends still fighting and loved ones we've lost and the Stoke pretty muddy run!
