Many of you know how cancer has come into our lives and made its presence known! Stage 4 Bowel cancer has been an obstacle in Kirstie’s life; one that with luck, support and the expertise of the NHS she has currently overcome. The threat of recurrence is almost palpable SO we are running today to ensure that others don’t have to go through the same; running to show that there is life to be lived with cancer in it; running to give hope to others; and running in memory of those in our lives who have not been so lucky. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
