Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. Sadly I have lost three close members of my family due to cancer. My Uncle Tom Gilmour in 2010, my dad Alex Cook in 2011 and my Auntie Liz Brown (nee Nicol, Robertson)(Scott and Daniel's mum)in 2018, watching this horrible disease take them from us was truly heartbreaking, life will never be the same without them and they are greatly missed everyday. We are running this 5k in memory of them. Cancer does not descriminate! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
