Story
Six incredible years ago, we were fortunate enough to become part of the most exciting opportunity and the most fantastic school community. King’s Gate Primary School opened its porta-cabin doors to a truly wonderful group of families — the most inspiring I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Each family brought their own story to King’s Gate, and each one trusted that this new school really was something special. From that very first day, the King’s Gate staff understood the hope, trust, and care placed in us as we welcomed your children. 🌟 We Work Best When We Work Together Since King’s Gate opened in 2019, our motto has guided everything we do: “We work best when we work together.” One of the clearest examples of this is our annual charity challenges — opportunities for staff, parents, and the whole school community to join forces and make a meaningful difference. 💪 Past Achievements 2022: Staff and parents took on the Bournemouth Supersonic 10k and The Great South Run, stepping far outside their comfort zones to raise an impressive amount for Cancer Research UK. 2024: Mr Carter and I completed a night climb up Snowdon, raising money for Wiltshire Air Ambulance. Reaching the summit just in time for a breath-taking sunrise was both unforgettable and incredibly challenging. 👣 Looking Ahead: Big Hike Jurassic Coast 2026 This year, we want our entire community to feel part of the journey. With three of our King’s Gate staff members currently facing their own personal battles with cancer, this challenge is more meaningful than ever. It’s our chance to stand together, show our support, and raise funds for a vital cause.
