Every day in the UK around 1,000 people are told the words "you have cancer". On 28th January 2019, I was one of those 1,000 people on that day who heard the words that no one wants to hear. My world fell apart. Cancer doesnt have a face until it's someone you know. Cancer doesnt discriminate, it doesn't care who you are, and it's scary, really scary. But it has already taught me so much, I never understood what is truly important in life until now. The Cancer Research UK Race for Life gives people hope by raising more funds to help beat cancer sooner. I messaged some of my friends & family to see it anyone wanted to join me in this years Race for Life and I have been totally overwhelmed by the support.
