Story
We are one of the thousands of family’s affected by cancer everyday! As you all know we lost our sister Sarah back in 2015 after a short battle with breast cancer. Sarah was 33 years old.... 33!. She left behind 3 young boys and a completely devastated family! Sarah took her last breath on the 12th December at 2pm, she was now pain free. But us a family felt pain, pain we had never felt, we didn’t know what to do... how can you possibly go on? why would you want to? Unfortunately you had too! Fast forward 2 years and our Mum was diagnosed with breast cancer aswel! How does this happen? You never ever think for a second cancer would affect your family let alone twice! How do you deal with your Mum having cancer? Potentially loosing her? Is life even possible without her? Luckily Mums diagnoses was more positive then Sarah’s, but by no means any easier! Mum generally felt she was one of the lucky ones and took it all in her stride! Sarah’s memory spuring her on the whole entire time! After a mysectomy, chemo and radiotherapy Mum is now stronger then she has ever been and we couldn’t be any prouder!!! We as a family treat every day as it’s our last ..... because you just never know. We don’t take life for granted and we make sure we live life to the full, we only get one life right? We all know someone lost, someone battling and someone who has survived this awful disease. You all know who you are and we are racing for you! Please donate what you can Thanks
