Story
A message from Fabby.... I don’t normally put things about my life on the internet but if this helps raise 1 more £ to beat this disease it is worth it. This year has been one of the toughest years of my life and we are only half way though. Cancer touches everyone around you and takes over every thought in your mind. You never think it will happen to you until it hits and your complete world is torn apart. I have been so lucky and on a speedy recovery now. They managed to catch it at a very early stage and remove the tumour with no further treatment at the moment. I will be very closely monitored now for years to come thanks to the amazing nhs. The staff at derby royal hospital and Macmillan support have been unbelievably amazing for both my family and me. I’m so proud that we have the nhs and feel privileged to work for them. I can not thank my family and friends enough for their support though it all. I love you all and couldn’t have got though this without you all. I think the last time I ran anywhere was sports day at school!! So wish me luck!!!!! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work, so please sponsor me now.
