Story
Cancer has had a profound impact on all of our lives. We have lost many loved ones but have thankfully seen others survive. Five years ago mum was diagnosed with breast cancer. It was truly the worst time of our lives but thankfully she is one of the lucky ones and is still with us. Without the amazing care and support that was available to her this could have been a different story. Five years on we thought it would be nice to celebrate mum's survival but also to remember all of the loved ones we have lost. As such; mum, Caitlin and myself have formed a team to raise money for the following cancer strands - breast (Kath), bowel (Caitlin) and Prostate (Julie) as these have had the biggest impact on our lives.
