Kate was 44 when she was diagnosed with inflammatory breast cancer in February 2015. Further tests showed that the cancer had already spread to her bones, making her cancer treatable but NOT curable. Having an incurable diagnosis however does NOT stop Kate living life to the max and Race for Life is just one of the mad-cap things that Kate does!
