Story

As a team we have all been affected by the loss of family and friends due to the horrendous disease. Roshan's sister Karishma was a fun loving girl who loved to travel, sadly her life was cut short at an age where the average person is settling down to grow a family, sadly she wasn't given this opportunity due to the cruel nature of cancer which eventually spread from her breasts to her liver, lungs and spine she passed on 12.12.2018 leaving behind her soul mate Frank. Kirsty's Nanny Rose was a caring and loving Nan who was known for her fondness for cats, after a long battle with Breast cancer she battled it all the way until her Great Grandaughter Emie was born, she sadly passed the very next day after meeting Emie on 19.02.18 leaving behind Two daughters with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Michael's Nanny Bridie was the kindest woman anyone could wish to meet and a fantastic Nan to 8 Grandsons who all absolutely adored her, she was the one that kept the family all together with everyone pulling in the same direction. She sadly passed on the 23.07.2011 after a battle with lung cancer leaving behind her husband Pat, 4 children, 8 Grandsons and great grandchildren that have multiplied year on year. Terry's beloved Aunty Diane who passed away from cancer Back in 2015. He misses Diane tremendously as do the rest of his family and all that knew her. Diane fought as good as she could for as long as she could but couldn’t go on. Diane’s passing left and still has left a hole in the family but am also aware that many of my friends have also lost people to the horrible disease too which has caused voids in their circles too. We also as a group have a close friend currently battling the disease and can see first hand how it can affect people who are still suffering now so please be generous with donations as you never know this could benefit someone you know in ways that we just wouldn't understand.
