We are raising money to support our wonderful, warm, kind, generous, and musical friend, Julian. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer affecting men. 41,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year. Whilst some are fortunate, and it remains dormant and inactive, some men will require treatment. So what can you do to help? 1) sign up to raise money running/walking the race for life with us (ladies) and providing copious amounts of tea and cake after (men) 2) sponsor us - funding is essential to research new and more effective treatments. 3) raise awareness. Check yourself regularly: any problems in the undercarriage, get yourself checked out by your GP. Early diagnosis makes treatment easier. 4) Support your friend with manly hugs and cups of tea/pints of beer.
