Story

Hi, I'm Joshua I’m 10 years old. Me and my friend Chloe have signed up for the Race for Life Poole Pretty Muddy Kids which takes place on the 1st June. I am running because I want to help people like my Grandad who was diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer last Summer, but has now been given the worst news that it has spread to the brain, lymph nodes and voice box. We now only have months left to create new memories with him. It's been a really tough time and I want to do something positive and make him proud. I'm going to train really hard as its 5KM and over inflatables, but I know my friend Chloe will be there to help and support me along with our Mums! Having Cerebral Palsy makes everyday tasks a little bit challenging for me, but I want to push myself to help Cancer Research help stop Cancer! 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
