Story
In December 2019, our mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer. She underwent surgery in February 2020 followed by 8 rounds of chemo. Our amazing mum is now cancer free, and we will be forever grateful for the care and treatment she received throughout her battle. Had her surgery been scheduled just one month later, as we found ourselves entering lockdown, she may well not have received the treatment she needed and her story could well have had a very different ending. We know our mum was one of the lucky ones. Unfortunately due to covid, so many cancer patients have not received the treatment they needed. Which is why we wanted to try and raise some money for Cancer Research, to help in some way to raise awareness, support research and beat cancer. We love you mum xxx
