Cancer is happening right now. It doesn't care who you are, how old you are, whether you have small children or a life of goals and ambitions ahead. We are proof of that, at the age of 34, within months of each other, we have battled this cruel disease...and won. With the support of family and friends and of course the work of the amazing NHS, we are through the other side and able to look forward to our futures and being mummies to our beautiful children. We are lucky. Only through routine screening did we both receive an early diagnosis which ultimately saved our lives. We are not alone.
