Story
Me and my friends are running the race for life in memory of my Dad who passed away just 10 months ago. Dad was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in May last year and after a short 6 month battle and many health complications along the way he sadly couldn’t fight anymore. From being diagnosed he had a short window before his symptoms worsened preventing him from enjoying his newly retired life. Due to having complications he was only able to have one chemotherapy session, which caused his health to have an even further dramatic decline. At that point we thought it was already time to say goodbye. Seeing him slowly weaken was one of the hardest things I have ever seen and what I hope no one ever has to go through. However, his endurance and outlook on life throughout his diagnosis is something I will always be proud of and something I hope to have inherited from him. The memories I have of him from when I was growing are ones I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you for visiting our page and any donation no matter how small we’d appreciate massively x Also, a huge thank you to my friends on this page, and a few others who sadly couldn’t do the race for life with us, who have supported me and my family throughout everything we’ve been through. I’ve had the toughest two years and I wouldn’t be anywhere without you lot x
