The three of us much prefer swimming so the conversation to take the 5K challenge on, naturally happened at the Lido on a Sunday morning. Every second conversation we have seems to be about cancer affecting our lives, families and close friends. For Kate in particular the last year has been really hard with cancer affecting too many people incredibly close to her! We want to make a difference, however little. The challenge is to RUN this distance, the challenge is to FIGHT cancer together and to REMEMBER those people that we have lost or who are living with cancer right now.
