Story
Sammie’s story: I lost my Mum in 2012 when she lost her battle with breast cancer, I will never forget the suffering she encountered and I will never forget the pain we all felt when we lost our wonderful Mum. Never I thought this day would come so soon and we would have to part ways, and I would never have her shoulder to cry on again. My mum suffered from cancer silently for over a year, she was always so optimistic and always fought her hardest, but the cancer took over and there was nothing they could do! Jess’ story: My Nan had breast cancer and sadly passed away because of cancer. My mum also had breast cancer at the same age as my Nan and thankfully won the battle. Sadly not everybody beats the battle and we want to help fight to find a cure. We want to do as much as we can to help raise money to try help find a cure, so nobody else will ever have to face what us and a thousand other families have had to suffer. Even a donation as little as a pound will go a long way and we’re going to race in honour of both our mum’s and Jess’ Nan, along with all those who are facing the battle or have sadly lost their lives. Please, please help and donate to this amazing charity. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life 10k to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
