Story
I'm walking in memory of my dad who died from Bowel Cancer in July 2020. He was a man who worked tirelessly, even through ill-health, to support my family – he was generous, funny and made amazing roast potatoes. Despite Bowel Cancer being one of the most common types of Cancer, it took over a year for my dad to receive a diagnosis and treatment was ultimately unsuccessful. I feel his loss every day and my heart will bear a dad-shaped space throughout all the moments he can't be here for anymore. I can only hope that funding new research can make cancer as preventable and treatable as possible. Please donate what you can (I completely understand if you can't) – I haven't put a target as I'd be happy to raise any amount.
