Story
Graham had been a part of our lives sice we were young, alongside our Grandma, he helped raise us and it is because of him that we are the women we are today. You would never meet a man funnier than Graham, he had an incredible wit and a somewhat, dark sense of humour. It was impossible to be aorund him and not end up laughing. But he was also so kind and understanding, he would go out of his way for anybody and was always putting the needs of others before his own (just ask our Grandma about her kitchen). Graham had an incredible zest for life, he travelled all over the world with our Grandma, just this summer they visited Germany and Canada. They were always off on some sort of adventure, making memories and living the most incredible life together. Over the summer Graham had been complaining of stomach pains, but having suffered with Barrett's esophagus for the past few years, he didn't think anything of it. After the pain didn't go away, he went to the Doctor, who after conducting tests over a series of weeks, confirmed that it was cancer. Graham was diagnosed in September 2017, we unforunately found out two weeks later that it had spread too far. On the 27th of October, Graham passed away at the Christie Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. We miss him evey day, but unfortunately we can't bring him back. We are taking part in Race for Life so that the money we raise can help other people and stop other families going through this. If we want to beat cancer, we need to know as much about it as possible, so that one day we can find a cure. Please donate what you can, no contribution is too small. Thank you, Jazzmine and Niamh x
