Story
In 2016 my mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and it had spread to her lymph nodes in the armpit it was a hard time but knowing that it was curable got us all through it. My mum went through treatment she lost her hair and had a breast mastectomy and in 2017 she was told that she beat cancer and was now in remission. What a relief it was! So for the first time i ran pretty muddy in 2018 to support cancer research it was amazing so much fun and i was so proud to run it for someone i love to the bottom of my heart and i said to my mum im going to do it again next year you should join me. However at start of 2019 my mum stuffered with stomach pains so she went back to the doctors and the hospital to be told she has secondary breast cancer in her liver, lymph nodes in her chest and bones which it treatable but not cureable once again our world came crashing down. The thought of me and my siblings loosing the one person in our lives that you can never replace will be gone one day breaks my heart she is my world. Still keeping to my word I will be running again with danielle and my little sisters endeah and mya for my mum and cancer research as every penny counts toward finding a medicine or a cure that will help everyone that is fighting cancer to stay with loved ones longer as 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime.
