We are a group of Ladies who work together but more than that we are friends, we are family, Mothers, Daughters, Sisters and more, and at the moment we signed up for "Pretty Muddy Race For Life" one of our own was bravely fighting her own Cancer Battle and we were not going to stand by and let her fight that battle alone so as a show of our support to this amazing lady who carried a amazing smile and a positive look on life right till the end,and still helping others while fighting her battle partaking in treatments with research to help beat Cancer! We are teaming up to do the "Pretty Muddy" Race for life, because life does get messy at times but with the help and support of our family and friends any battle can be won, We are all Staff and former staff of Home Bargains in Pontardawe who had the great pleasure of knowing and working with this wonderful woman and we would love to raise funds for this great research to carry on helping friends and loved ones like our Friend, Sadly our dear friend Jan lost her battle on the 21st of June 2017 and Her request for any donations at her funeral was that they go to a children's cancer Charity to help them get to live there lives, We collected £100 and presented it to her husband at her wake for him to donate to her chosen charity in her memory but we are not stopping there we are going to raise funds and take part in the "pretty muddy race for life" In memory of our amazing friend Jan who herself took part in the "race for life" 2014
