Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK. Janine's story: In memory of my lovely Dad. My Dad was diagnosed in August and devastatingly lost his battle on Boxing Day last year. The cancer had spread and his body couldn't fight anymore. Seeing how rapidly he went down hill and losing my Dad has been the hardest thing ever to deal with and I would love to try and help other families dealing with this awful illness and stop others being taken from us to early. Also for my amazing mum; she is a super women...diagnosed with breast cancer in her 40's..after radiotherapy and having some lymph glands removed has continued to fight and is doing great with regular checks from the amazing Mcmillan teams..touch wood! Darren's story: I have signed up to do this challenge in order to support my girlfriend who lost her dad to Cancer this Christmas. I have seen the effects it has, not just on the person suffering from the disease but those people who's loved ones have it. You can not talk to someone these days without them having been effected by cancer in 1 way or another and this has to be stopped.
