Story
We lost our fabulous, feisty, netball-loving friend to ovarian cancer earlier this year following a short but brutal illness. It is a loss we feel every day - the shock of Lisa's sudden death is hard to bear, particularly for her family but also for her many friends and her netballing family. We feel strongly that greater awareness of the symptoms of ovarian cancer could have made the world of difference to Lisa's diagnosis and treatment, but rather than dwell on what might have been, Team Lisa want to raise awareness and raise money for this. Please support us to ensure all women understand the symptoms (bloating, needing to wee), know what to look out for (pain in the abdomen, unusual lumps) and get early diagnosis and treatment. Lisa would want us to do this for others, and we are doing this for her.
