Story
We know that cancer affects so many families in so many ways and we want to show our support and help beat cancer. Karen Lawson (our sister in law/ Aunty) recently lost her battle to cancer on 12th February 2017. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 6 years ago and even though she beat it once and was in remission, 2 years ago she was then told it was back and incurable. Since then even though the road was extremely tough she did everything she could to stay with her family and really fought to the end. Karen lost her battle too young and if we can stop just one other person from losing their battle it has to be worth it. The sad truth is that you never realise how devastating the disease is until it affects your close ones. So although it's later than maybe we should have started to help raise money, we are now out in force as a family to raise as much as we can to help make a difference. Please show us your support, every penny really does make a difference and help us to beat cancer and stop this disease destroying more lives.
