We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer, this cruel illness needs to be stopped.
At 1:46pm on the 7th June 2019, My beautiful, wonderful, amazing wife Janette Fuller, took her last breath, taken from us far too young. Janette was the most fun loving, caring, kindhearted, gentle woman. She was an amazing wife, fantastic mum, doting grandma and loyal friend. Janette was first diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in January 2016; she found the courage and strength to fight this awful illness and in January 2017 received the fantastic news "She was all clear". She lived life to the full grateful for this second chance, she spent her time with family, she joined in everything with everyone, always a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye. BUT... then in a cruel and devastating twist of fate just after a fantastic family Christmas she collapsed, she was taken to hospital and on her 61st birthday 8th January 2019, when we should be been celebrating, Janette was given the news no-one wanted to hear "The cancer had returned". Janette being Janette, fought with every fibre of her sole to stay with us, without blame and a quiet inner strength she fought a brave battle for 6 months, growing up she showed us the true value of family and kept us all close, so as she fought me and her girls all stood beside her every step of the way, holding her hand until there was no fight left in her. To watch a person you have grown with, loved and relied on for all your life deteriorate and be taken by this terrible illness is more than our hearts can take, we now know the true meaning of absolute heartbreak, our lives have changed forever, there is no coming back from the despair and pain we feel every minute of every day. Losing Janette has left a hole no-one else can ever fill and this hole will always be the sadness our family take with them as we carry on with life. We will forever keep Janette's memory alive so as a family we have decided to channel our hopelessness and anguish into something that keeps her spirit with us and in the forefront of people’s minds. To join with other people experiencing the same horrendous pain and together try and help beat cancer we may help save another family from going through the same torment we find ourselves in..... xxx
