We're raising as much as we can to beat cancer

Story

Chris McDonald Following a sudden and aggressive battle with cancer, Chris passed away in February 2018, aged just 42. He lived life to the full, made friends wherever he went and found great happiness in marriage to Kate. His work hard and play hard attitude to life took him and the family from the UK to Thailand and the USA. His only regrets were that he wouldn’t live to watch his little boy William grow up. Due to this horrible illness Chris’ family and friends miss him every day. We are running to raise valuable funds for Cancer Research in the hope that, one day we can stop Cancer devastating lives. Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
