3 years ago in September 2019, our beloved Rita fell very ill suddenly with an aggressive throat cancer. Rita was young, beautiful and loved life as much as her two gorgeous children Kai and Sienna. She fought bravely and strongly but sadly her cancer was too advanced and we lost her on Boxing day that year. Rita had said to us, if she beats this illness and gets better, she wants to help people who have been impacted like her. In her name, we want to do this for her to help achieve her wish. This cruel and unforgiving illness is impacting so many. As a team, our loved ones have been lost to or impacted by cancer greatly. To remember Rita, celebrate her life and everyone else's that we have sadly lost along the way and finally, to celebrate those who have beaten cancer, we are walking 10k in the Cancer Research Shine Walk this September. The team made up of Rita's children, family and friends really want to share that Cancer is happening right now, which is why we're fundraising right now for Cancer Research UK to help all those impacted.
