Story
Last year Steven Gibson, my brother, Ed's Son and Sara's partner was diagnosed with a large and aggressive brain tumour. As if that didn't feel like the end of the world , he was told it was incurable. A year on, 2 surgeries, Radiotherapy and Chemo we are currently waiting for him to get well enough for more chemo. It's been such a long, bendy and hilly road, Steven's been so brave all along its inspirational yet heart breaking. This Race for life is also for my Stepdad David, who couldn't quite manage to kick cancers arse, my mother in law Denise (winning), my Grandad Phil (winning), Uncle Robert (who tried and fought so bravely), Grandad Alec ( who tried his best), Uncle Andy (winning), Bob and Arlene ( fought bravely) and for Anne and Alex (keep fighting, your amazing) Please help us by giving whatever you can, sending Cancer an absolute massive middle finger! Cancer is happening right now, which is why I'm taking part in a Race for Life to raise money and save lives. 1 in 2 people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Every single pound you donate makes a difference to Cancer Research UK’s groundbreaking work.
